We interview them, by appointment, together with their nearest and dearest, and write their very personal story including every last detail: from vows, readings and speeches to the guest list, messages and menu. We combine that story with their images and lots of creative design touches, making every single album unique, just as every wedding is unique. Our guest books were the result of going to lots of weddings and trying to come up with something moving and funny when the guest book came around - not so easy after a glass of wine! Our books are stylishly designed with quizzes, doodles, awards ceremonies and lots of message pages so that guests are never stuck for something to say. Our guest books have been so popular that we wanted to add to the range, and having been on a few hen do's recently we really felt for the Maid of Honour having to come up with ideas! We wanted to create something that would get the party going but also make sure that the bride-to-be ended up with more than a hangover - the books are fun and funny but include space for messages, photos and more, all the memories of the Hen in one place. All our Hen Party books are carefully designed to be bang up to date with something to suit every style. They are A4-sized with hard cover and lovely art-quality matt pages so that writing is easy too. Our Hen Books - there is a choice of dusky pink 'One Last Thing Before the Ring' or mint green 'A Bit of a Hen Do' - have 40 pages packed with quirky features. There is a sign in page, a quiz about the bride, an awards ceremony, loads of games, wishes for the bride, doodles to complete, space for photos and to write messages too. Well, we're off on a hen do this weekend! It for Sam, my Illustries co-founder , and we're off to Marbella. We're looking forward to some sun and relaxation, but Sam is insisting on tequila shots so we hope the flashing diamond ring shot glasses we've sourced will come in handy! I've been married for 5 years now and my hen do was in Blackpool - I must be getting old because when we came out of the cabaret club at midnight and I was asked if I would like to go clubbing I just wanted to head home for a cuppa! Well, with a hen do in Marbs to look forward to, we'd have to say rain! Really, what we'd most hate is for the Hen to be disappointed, so we're hoping that the (mostly) stylish vibe we've chosen is OK... and that she wasn't hoping for a stripper! Sounds great right?
