Subtly Sensational Pink Spring Wedding ♥

I'm such a sucker for pretty pinks and blush weddings like Chris and Courtney's elegant and oh-so-romantic celebration, and it's easy to see why! Their soft, spring wedding was abundant with pretty pink petals and sweet pink touches throughout. Spring is Courtney's favourite season and when she saw a "Love in Bloom" spread in a bridal magazine she just knew that it would be the inspiration for their wedding theme.

Courtney wore a strapless ivory gown, dressing her maids in cute pink one-shouldered gowns with ruffled with petal-like ruffles. Tables were topped with delicate floral arrangements in hues coral, blush, cream and soft rose and their decadent four tiered wedding cake adorned with fresh rose blossoms, creating a spring sensation captured in full bloom by Just a Dream Photography.

From the bride:
Our wedding day was everything I could have dreamed of! The weather was amazing and the venue had prepared the landscaping on the grounds so wonderfully! The whole grounds were just blooming with colors and all kinds of bright flowers...it was such a beautiful setting. I love mercury glass, lace doilies, and small arrangements of flowers and incorporated that into our centerpieces. We just really wanted our guests to feel the love that day and celebrate the start of the best season of the year...spring! Wedding Bouquet:

We wrote our seating chart on a chalkboard. Our table numbers were in small picture frames on each table. Stand Out Vendors:
Our table decor was simple and delicate. We had pale pink table clothes, cream lace doilies and varied flower arrangements in mercury glass vases with mercury glass candle votives on each table.
My dress was by Allure Bridals and was an ivory strapless slim A-line silhouette. It had a ruched organza bodice with a satin belt along the natural waist decorated with Swarovski crystals. The skirt of the dress was also organza with lace appliqué and buttons down the back.
I love flowers and really put a lot of time into picking out the flowers. I just loved our flowers! My inspiration was a full blush and cream bouquet. Peonies are my absolute favorite flower so I wanted those to be the main flower of the day. The florist incorporated peonies, carnations, spray roses, and queen anne's lace.

Their Love Story:
Chris and Courtney met in high school and were introduced by mutual friends. After their first date they were inseparable and the rest is history. Chris and Courtney love downtown Charlotte, NC and went on a date downtown one summer night in June 2012. After dinner they walked around downtown and ended up at The Green park in downtown Charlotte where Chris surprised Courtney with a beautiful ring!

Real Bride Courtney's Advice For Brides-To-Be

• The biggest lesson I learned was to not stress out so much during the process of planning. Let people help you and enjoy the process! Everything worked out perfectly!
• Focus on just a few things that are important to you and put the majority of your budget there. For me, the flowers were very important so a lot of my budget was spent on flowers.

• Our photographers, Just a Dream Photography, were so helpful! They answered so many planning questions I had (not even photography related) and were so helpful on the wedding day.
• The wedding planners at our venue, The Saratoga Springs, were SO helpful! They were always available and took care of everything on the wedding day.
