This morning we head to one of the most picturesque and romantic locations in the world... Italy.

Gavin and Cushla tied the knot on the 7th September 2013 at Santa Maria Di Castellabate, Campania, Italy. There wedding was planned for them by My Secret Italy which allowed Gavin and Cushla to relax and enjoy the whole experience.

They had a pizza party the night before, played cards with locals, had gelatos and a BBQ. Cushla looked beautiful in an elegant lace gown while Gavin donned a smart black suit. And for the perfect end to the day there were fireworks. WOW.

A party by the sea, low key with as many friends and family as could make it. No fuss, just fun. We found an amazing wedding planner in Julie McKenzie of My Secret Italy and she arranged everything for our wedding in Santa Maria Di Castellabate in Italy.

The Planning Process... Gavin googled beach weddings in Italy and fortunately found Julie. She basically arranged everything, from venues, accommodation for the guests, a party night beforehand, transfers, flowers, hairdresser, music, decoration.... she was incredible!

The Dress + Accessories... I bought my dress online from a Chinese website - dressingpod.com. It was a risk to take but for me it was worth it as the quality was excellent. I had a dressmaker fit it to me when I received it. My something borrowed were my shoes from my sister in law. I didn't spend much on the dress or accessories as I wanted to use that budget for food and drink for those who had travelled all the way to Italy.

The Readings + Music... My sister in law and friend both said something. I left the choice to them and both chose very different but equally as nice poems. We had Italian guitarists playing music and singing throughout the ceremony and just after. As a surprise for us our families and a few of our friend's song -flash mobbed us with the Sinead O Connor song 4th & Vine...it was priceless!

Beautiful Bridesmaids... My gorgeous sister who chose her own dress and looked totally stunning...which she always does.

I have realised now that the day goes by so fast that afterwards, what you are left with are the memories and with a good photographer they can often fill in some of the parts you will miss. My memories would not be as wonderfully vivid had I not had someone as special as Laura.

Advice for Other Couples... Try not to get caught up in the whole thing, remember why you are there. The details don't matter. It's the two of you and the people you love celebrating a lovely occasion. No one cares how much you've spent...if they do they shouldn't be there. What you and your guests will remember is the atmosphere, if you are stressed, they will find it very hard to enjoy it. If you are doing your own thing and enjoying it, so will they. They will simply follow your lead so put on your dancing shoes, laugh, sing and try and enjoy every second of it - its brilliant.
