We featured some animal cakes: Chocolate Owl Cake or Butterfly-shaped Cake but these may satisfy daughters' needs. Whose son wouldn't like to visit the space? My keeps on dreaming about flying and being an astronaut. I can't give him the opportunity to realize his dreams now, but I think I've just found a makeshift.

These cakes absolutely rock! The three dimensional Cake Planets created by self-taught chef Rhiannon from Cakecrumbs, represent the subsurface on Jupiter and Earth. The cakes may be educational and decorative at the same time. I wonder how they taste.
