Today on Wedding Friends we have an E shoot from Tanya Jacobs Photography. This is a rather new face on the Wedding Friends blog and we are so proud to showcase our new talents. Tanya is sharing her E shoot of Johnathan and Jessica with us and enjoy this E shoot with us. This is a perfect example to show that you only need one location to create a stunning shoot.

Jonathan and I met 4 years ago. A colleague and I had decided to go out for dinner after work on a Friday in Umhlanga Village. We were new in Durban as we had both just been transferred from Johannesburg for work. As we were out and about, I saw this guy staring at me quite intensely and my first thought was, "what a weirdo!" I eventually looked at him and was like "what are you staring at!?" He just walked up to me, took hold of my hands, looked me square in the eyes and said " Relax pretty lady." Just like that I was memorized by this man and wanted to get to know him better.

He still says to this day that when he saw me for the first time, he knew that I was everything he was looking for and a sense to just get to know me overcame him. The next morning he called his entire family and told them he had met his wife! We went on a few dates after that and I eventually asked him to officially be my boyfriend! Not soon after that we got a place of our own and got our two little pugs, who we adore.

After an amazing holiday this past December in Kosi Bay together, we went to visit my parents straight from Kosi. The 1 ^st night we were there, we were having a braai, sat down at the table with the whole family and he popped the ring into a glass of champagne. As soon as I discovered the ring after finishing my champagne, he got down on one knee, vowed to love me forever and asked me to marry him. The whole family was shocked and tears were flowing! My family adore him and couldn't be happier. We didn't want to wait and have decided to get married in May this year.

We have been together for 4 years on Wednesday 6 March. These have been the best years of my life. I am so excited and cannot wait to be married to this incredible man and to live happily ever after. I only pray and hope everyone gets to experience love like this in their lives.
