Malibu Rocky Oaks Dinner Party

Malibu Rocky Oaks Dinner Party

A few months back, we were lucky enough to attend Casa de Perrin's Malibu Dinner Party, which was a super fun night spent with some of our favorite friends + industry creatives! We were treated to delightful cocktails handcrafted by Pharmacie, 1960′s west coast pop rock from Dominique Pruitt and the most delicious, relaxed meal by Heirloom LA at a communal table beautifully designed by Revelry Event Designers. As you'll soon see, the whole event was so beautifully styled + and loaded with inspiring details, so I wouldn't be surprised if all of you newly engaged couples pick up a thing or two to consider incorporating into your own day! Here's a bit more about the evening from Diana + Josh of Casa de Perrin:

The idea of throwing a particularly special dinner party came out of us wanting to thank our friends and colleagues who have majorly supported us over the past couple years, since the inception of Casa de Perrin. We wanted to put together a night that took everyone away from the craziness of wedding season and everyone's slam-packed schedules, and really treat our guests to the pure joy that is actually getting to ENJOY an event, rather than work at one. We decided to host our dinner at Malibu Rocky Oaks, a private vineyard with such an amazing 360-degree view of the Santa Monica Mountains you almost feel like you're up in the clouds. We set the theme as 1960′s Paris meets Old World Tuscany, in part to incorporate the beautiful juxtaposition of the estate's Parisian-filled Tuscan villa, and in part to impose a sense of Audrey Hepburn-esque glamour and undertone on the night.

Above was the amazing poster sized invite everyone personally received to the event! Designed by Amber Moon of Pitbulls and Posies with blind embossed print, it was pretty amazing - and we knew right then, that this event was not to be missed!

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed at the door with a Pineau Francois Orange aperitif, and then directed to the property's helipad landing where we had set a 12′ circular, reclaimed-wood bar with an assortment of ombre vintage glassware in colors that mimicked the incredible sunset as the sun went down on us during cocktail hour. It's hard to pick a most favorite aspect of the event, but this was by far and away our favorite bar we've decked out to date.

Below left is the amazing team from Casa de Perrin - and you might recognize the family on the right! ;)

Fun Fact: if this villa looks familiar, it might be because it was also seen in Hangover 3!

Matthew + Tara from Heirloom LA knocked it out of the park with the delicious cuisine. Being the creative food geniuses they are, Josh + Diana just let them know the color-scheme of the dinnerware they would be using and the overall feel of the night, and the Heirloom team took it from there!

Celio Paulo de Almeida of Celio's Floral Design created a gorgeous, lush floral runner that spanned the entire length of the dining table. Complete with tulips, garden roses, succulents, air-plants + eucalyptus, it truly helped express the magical vibe of the celebration, and definitely made a lasting impression!

All sixty guests dined at a one long natural driftwood table, set underneath 60′s inspired crystal chandeliers. Casa debuted their new heath ceramics + teak flatware lines, along with their antique white florentine chargers, salt cellars, cut crystal and pressed glass goblets and champagne coupes. It was truly stunning + the most amazing dinner table I've ever eaten at!

Thank you so much to Casa de Perrin for inviting us to such a fun + special event! And another big thank you goes out to all of the talented creatives below for pulling together such a breathtaking + inspiring evening!
