When Desiree Shuey found a gorgeous ivory dress that she had purchased for an event years ago tucked away in the back of her closet, she knew she had to do something with it. Her wheels began turning and after a good amount of time was spent brainstorming, an elegant + organic fall inspired shoot began to take shape. As a self-proclaimed lover of autumn, she knew she wanted to incorporate lots of details that identify with the season – like pumpkins, candles, glass domes, and seasonal foliage – but with a more nontraditional palette of ivory, silver-y sage and rust. So many pretty details for all of you fall brides to be inspired by and pin for your big day!

An all-white aisle is so pretty + refined. Loving all the sizes + shapes of the pumpkins Desiree used.

And Collette Budd did a beautiful job creating arrangements that definitely have a fall-like feel, but incorporate Desiree’s fresh color palette.

The place settings are so, so sweet!

And the tiered naked cake by Sugarmomma perfectly fits the vibe of the shoot!
