Animal Kingdom – A styled shoot featuring art, sculpture & creative headwear

via

Today we bring you some off the wall wedding inspiration in the form of a styled shoot!! We think it pretty festival cool with lots of dark, animal kingdom style..

A collaboration of creative wedding suppliers produced this unique and unusual shoot, aimed at inspiring those wanting to use art and sculpture in their wedding.

These images were shot at The Sculpture Park in Churt, Surrey, set within an atmospheric ten acres of arboretum & wildlife inhabited water gardens, who have recently created The Sculpture Gift List, a unique contribution fund for the gift of sculpture. They teamed up with Natalie Ellner for Ellsewhere who creates bespoke sculptural headwear and accessories for some exciting clients, including actress Kate Winslet. Natalie creates beautifully realistic pieces inspired by the simple beauty of nature and the innocence of the animal kingdom. Her graceful and enchanting headwear and accessories shaped the look of an ethereal and otherworldly marriage ceremony in an outdoor setting. (Please note that no real animals were used in this shoot, Natalie is just an incredibly talented artisan!!)

The bride was dressed in award winning London couture bridal designer Charlotte Garratt’s gown ‘Elizabeth’ which features Silk crepe backed satin with tulle illusion straps and feather detailing, which complimented Ellsewhere’s dove headpiece as if they were made for each other.

The shoot was photographed by the ever-observant Loukia who captured the look and detail in her ever-the-perfectionist way of contorting her body into the most uncomfortable of position, in order to achieve ‘the shot’!!

The Ivory Boutique’s bridesmaid gowns and Stephen Bishop’s suits fitted the remit impeccably with the colours and styles mirroring the details in the Peacock, Snow fox, Badger, Fox and Crow headpieces.

Hazel from Eden Blooms completed the look with a sculpted bouquet & button holes featuring woodland twigs and shrubbery.

The locations & sculptures selected from over 600 pieces at The Sculpture Park including dancing skeletons, natural root chairs and a Gothic Folly, each adding an impressive, bohemian backdrop.

Thanks to Nicola @ Propose Pr for sending us this off the wall shoot!! We hope it has inspired your arty cool festival wedding!! xx
