Happy international Saturday :-) This week we head to the Nevada Desert, United States for the gorgeous engagement shoot of childhood sweethearts Gabrielle and Garrett.

I so love the rustic deserted back drop for their shoot, with Gabrielle and Garrett in the cutest attire and love plastered all over their faces.

“Gabrielle + Garrett’s engagement shoot was full of DIY details and rustic romance. The two actually met in high school at Las Vegas Academy – Garrett in the art department and Gabrielle in music. I love working with other creative people – they had lots of props that Garrett had painted, Gabby’s grandmother’s suitcase from the 1950s and more artistic ideas to try. Their retro style really worked with Nelson/Eldorado Canyon, and we used the old wooden barns, rusty cars and plane crash to enhance their shoot. This couple was such a pleasure to photograph and there’s no doubt they are going to have a super cool, highly original wedding in 2014.”
