This afternoon is dedicated to love.

Pooja and Amin met at work, their love blossomed on a trip to Las Vags before Amin popped the question with the most perfect Tiffany ring.

I adore their vibrant engagement shoot in central London, full of giggles and intimacy.

Pooja told me; “Amin and I met as co-workers over 2 years go and we went onto become friends. We used to go out as a group of co-workers after work for dinners many times. Then once this group from work planned a trip to Las Vegas, but as fate had it every other person going on this trip had emergencies come up days before leaving for the trip and it ended up being just Amin and I. We drove 8 hours together to Las Vegas on what would otherwise have been a 3/4 hour car ride due to brush fires and road closures. Something about that road trip brought us closer and we were VERY comfortable being around and communicating with each other — well, a few days later we came back as a couple from Las Vegas :)”

 

 

“The Proposal was in a very beautiful and intimate setting, where Amin totally caught me off guard when he pulled out a beautiful Tiffany box… I almost cried, actually I have never experienced such emotions of laughing and crying at the same time :)) It was beautiful..

For a moment Amin could not believe how excited I got just seeing the Tiffany box lol :)”

 

 

“Next, we came up with an idea to find a photographer in London and thanks to Google and Juliet, I was lead to the fabulous Kirsten Mavric! It is hard to believe just how smoothly everything went considering we were from 2 different countries and had never met each other. Trust and communication are 2 great things :) We squared in on meeting at 4pm on the day of the shoot in the middle of Westminster bridge in London and I had sent Kirsten a picture of Amin and I to help her recognise us :) From there on it was more fun as we went around London smiling and posing, creating a memory that we will always cherish!

When I saw the images, the colours, the angles, the backgrounds, my dress and in general the entire “look” of the shoot, I realised that the images looked exactly or even better than what I had in mind for my engagement pictures for many many years :)) Thank you Kirsten !!”

 

 

“Now we are looking forward to our wedding plans in spring/summer of next year, we don’t have a date yet but are looking at locations and other details.. we are very excited about it and can’t wait :) The wedding will be in our home city of Los Angeles and it be a fusion Indo-Persian wedding, since I am Indian and Amin is Persian !! :)).. I can’t wait to marry and spend the rest of my life with the most amazing, caring and handsome man I know :)”
