Bridal Gowns on the Attack
Bridal Gowns on the Attack

Bridal Gowns come in many styles and we have seen our fair share of them all. Well except for these. In recent years brides have become far more dairing than their traditional parents ever thought to be. Bridal Gowns have become riskier and quite thought provoking, sparking creative trends to be unique. We aren’t necessarily talking about a different color than white as we have seen that before. Jessica Biel most recently married Justin Timberlake in a pink bridal gown. Avril Lavigne opted for a black gown. With this year’s color being emerald we understand colors may change for bridal gowns. What we weren’t expecting is the style of bridal gowns and other alternatives. Brides want more than ever to be unique on their special day. They also want to mimic some of their favorite celebrity bridal gowns and we are all for it. Recently The New York Times posted an article titled A Masculine Silhouette, Tailored for Her. The story covered Mary Going who wanted to wear a suit to her same-sex wedding. Mary was enlightened that she wasn’t the only one who asked for designers who specializes in classic men’s suits tailored for women. These brides represent those who want an alternative to a wedding gown. For the brides who will continue wearing bridal gowns, unconventional styles are at the top of their list. Open backs, mullet hemlines, sleeveless and t-shirt style bridal gowns are now trending. See the picks we have found to spark inspiration…or not.
