In every real wedding report on WWW i always ask couples about their wedding music and readings. Weddings are not always about creative details but about creating atmosphere and touching memories. Seeing as the ceremony is the most important part of your wedding day, you of course want to make it personal and meaningful to you as a couple. So in asking couples what they chose i hope that it in turn helps you to come up with unique and individual ideas for your own ceremony be it religious or humanist.

So today i have collated wedding readings used by real life couples featured on WWW. I hope they spark a personal idea that you can then use in your wedding ceremony.

Wedding readings could be from poems, song lyrics, books, films, religious scripts or be written by yourselves. Be sure to consult with whoever is conducting your service to ensure they are suitable for the ceremony too. Or if you really don’t think a reading is for you, many couples opt not to have any at all.
