The wedding date is set-26/11/2016, rewind the clock exactly 5 years, the day two strangers met without knowing that their lives would be forever changed. Serfaas and a friend were on their way to a wedding, when the friend informed him of a third person that will being joining the car pool. As they pulled into the driveway, the blonde immediately captured his attention without saying a word. Serfaas was introduced to Su-Ann, immediately demoted to the back seat, and that was the start of their big adventure. Realising they share a love for God, Africa and amazing people in their lives, the rest is history.

After an "impromptu" last tour of the majestic Paris, the couple made their way to the Eiffel tower. The night was closing in fast and to make it before sunset; the two had to leave the comfort of the tour bus to travel further by foot, at a steady sprinting pace. Just as the sun was waving its last good-bye they arrived at the Eiffel tower. With the sky turning bright orange, the time was perfect, with a quick distraction, Serfaas got on his knee, and Su-Ann said-YES. An unforgettable moment, in a magical city, where time stood still and nothing else mattered other than the love of two people for each other.
