I love nothing more than seeing a designer's progression and Kelsey Genna launched her 2015 Bridal & Evening wear collection and third collection last week. (See Kelsey Genna Debut Bridal Collection & Kelsey Genna 2014 Bridal Collection)

At just 23, this New Zealand designer's third collection is all about modern femininity. Designing for herself, Kelsey creates pieces she herself would like to wear experimenting with textures and fabrics to add different elements to her collection.

Flora (above) inspired by petals of a flower is created out of shimmering dupion silk while the black and white "Valentina" gown features black and white lace with floral detailing in the neckline and hemline. My favourite piece - "Gem" is created from a pale buttercup yellow floral tulle. Each gown, or ensemble is designed for the modern alternative bride who wants to push the boundaries of traditional bridal wear.
