Amalfi Coast Wedding Ideas from Moda e Arte Workshop

Amalfi Coast Wedding Ideas from Moda e Arte Workshop

via

We were in awe at the recent Moda e Arte Workshop at the Amalfi Coast when we met up with photographers Sandra Aberg, KT Merry and stylist Joy Proctor in October last year. With the incredibly stunning backdrop of the coast, you'd think it would be difficult to stand out amongst the natural beauty of Ravello but alas, the Moda e Arte team blew us away with their eye for detail and delicate accents. With a Samuelle Couture gown, Written Word Calligraphy paper goods, and tablescape details from Classic Vintage Rentals, this Italian wedding inspiration is the perfect amount of chic versus natural...

One of the best parts about this gorgeous styled workshop was meeting the talented film photographers who attended it. We're so lucky to meet these wonderful people and love that we build upon our personal recommendation list for our brides. Here are just a few of the photographers that we met and their work from the Moda e Arte Workshop. Be sure to pop by their websites to see more of Italy and this beautiful couple!

From Camilla: " I always grab any opportunity to travel to Italy and France, there is just something about those places that makes a photographer's heart sing. so when I found out Moda e Arte was gonna take place on the Amalfi Coast again, I had to go. The opportunity to meet KT Merry who was one of the first photographers whose work made me fall in love with wedding photography and to watch her work was a great experience. The location of the couple shoot in the beautiful gardens at the UNESCO world heritage site of Villa Cimbrone was amazing. This along with the opportunity to photograph a stunning tablescape in the garden at Hotel Caruso, styled by the talented Joy Proctor and to be able to learn from them both was something I will never forget. The town of Ravello is an amazing place for a wedding, stunning, rustic and beautiful in every way, from the grand views to the small nooks in the narrow streets."

From Laura: "The Path of Gods is a stone-lined walk that snakes through the mountains of Southern Italy, wending its way through the highlands and along the sun-dappled Amalfi coast. Known for its sweeping traverses, steep climbs, and stunning views, the Path is more than a geographic feature; it is a metaphor for life, history, and connection. It is no surprise, then, that, this fall, a team of visionary photographers and artists came together in a small coastal town nestled under the stone pines of Salerno to create an awe-inspiring workshop and editorial shoot. With the genius styling of Joy Proctor Design and the mentorship of KT Merry Photography, Sandra Aberg Photography, Wedding Sparrow and Pearl & Godiva, the Moda e Arte Workshop experience is one that will never be forgotten. For this particular shoot, we had the unique pleasure of photographing at a UNESCO World Heritage Site that sits on top of cliffs in the clouds with spectacular views of the world below. From the moment you enter the great wooden doors at Villa Cimberone, you feel at peace and connected to the world around you, both past and present. With the gardens, statues, stone pathways and overlooks, the history and importance of every inch of area rushes at you. It's pure magic for anyone visiting and an absolute dream for the lucky bride and groom who may say their vows here, grounded in beauty and tradition while bounding into their future."
