Oh, heyyyy sweet brides!

To say we've got a treat for you this morning would be an understatement... This morning we're gonna full on indulge you in the most fabulous of bridal creations for the gorgeous people from Heart Aflutter.

You're gonna LOVE it.

You know that Daughters of Simone dress you've been lusting after for the last month but not dared to buy online? Yeah, that one (you and me both sister!) well, the geniuses over at Heart Aflutter are bringing you EXCLUSIVE designs in the UK... Yes, you heard right, on this very island!

Are you excited?! You should be! Let's get to know the godsend that is Heart Aflutter, shall we?

My name is Cecilia, I am on the wrong side of 30 and I am originally from Italy, from a town called Parma in the north of the country (yes, that's where Parma ham is from! And Parmesan cheese!). I moved to the UK 5 years ago after meeting the man who's now my husband! We dated long distance for about a year before deciding that we just wanted to be together all the time. I moved here, did my master's degree at Imperial College and worked in a couple of different places before deciding to go solo and launch Heart Aflutter.

We got married in London by the way, at the beautiful Union Chapel in Islington. Most people don't realise it's a wedding venue as it's mainly known as a music venue, but it actually is a proper church! We celebrated our 3rd anniversary a couple of weeks ago and can't believe how quickly time has flown!

I think Latitude would be my first choice, they always have amazing line-ups!

Ahaha thanks! Well, I got a bit hooked on anything wedding related while planning my own wedding. I was particularly frustrated by the lack of options for brides who didn't want the usual, traditional wedding dress and spent months drooling over the websites of American designers, undecided on whether buying a dress online was a wise decision. In the end I didn't take the plunge and purchased a vintage wedding dress here in London, however I continued following and admiring the work of some of those designers.

Then a couple of years ago I went through some tough times at work, first I was made redundant and then I ended up in a horrible job which really dragged me down. At that point, I decided I simply had to pursue this idea and do something I really loved and where I would be completely in control.

So I got in touch with those designers I so admired and brought this project to life. It's been a long time in the making but I am so glad I did it!

It's different, unusual, relaxed and easy to wear. I've tried to incorporate a lot of colour and of unusual silhouettes into the collection. Also I exclusively stock independent designers, with a great focus on craftsmanship and an even better price point.

Heart Aflutter brides are brides who know exactly what they want for their wedding: they want to feel at ease and comfortable, they want to be able to dance and party and they can do so in our wonderful frocks, without feeling less of a bride and without breaking the bank.

Oh! This is such a difficult question to answer, as I've personally handpicked every single dress in the collection and I feel like they're all my babies! But if I really really really had to choose one, it would be one of Claire La Faye's dresses. The silhouettes are simple and unfussy, the fabrics are to die for, and they are just the right mix of simplicity and interesting details.

They can expect a selection of dresses they won't find anywhere else, as we are exclusive stockists of most of our designers.

For the duration of their appointment they have the space entirely at their and their party's disposal. The studio is cosy and intimate, and my aim is to provide them with a stress-free, relaxed experience.

We also carry a selection of accessories for that special finishing touch to each bridal outfit. And finally, we have partnered with a selection of really talented, like-minded wedding vendors - photographers, florists, cake-makers, you name it! - so we can make recommendations on each aspect of a bride's big day.

Come with an open mind.

Loving a dress in a picture on Pinterest doesn't necessarily mean you'll love it as much once it's on you! And be daring, try on something you would never pick in a million years.

You'd be surprised how often this actually proves to be the winning decision! There are no rules - you make the rules!

Do more of what you love. Life is too short to do something you don't love so, for me, this is the key to happiness!

...Just incredible! We absolutely love Heart Aflutter and the opportunity they're giving all our boho brides-to-be here in the UK! I only wish they'd been open when I was choosing a wedding dress - those Daughters of Simone dresses are everything!

Happy shopping gorgeous brides!

Peace + Love
