Have you ever willed the flu on yourself ? I did. Let me explain. You may not know this, but I was a pharmaceutical sales rep before I was a photographer! I remember being at a conference in San Diego and I dreaded going to these conferences. I literally counted down the hours to the last meeting. So when I happened to get the flu on day 2 and I was sent home early.... I was elated. That's when I needed to look inward and change things. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I started a "side hustle" of photography and worked on weekends and after work. Much to my current boss' dismay, I even had meetings during business hours. I had finally found my passion and for the first time I had drive when it came to my career. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After one year of my side hustle in photography, I remember adding up my contracts and it was enough to leave pharma sales. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I wanted to put this out there to anyone who is feeling like they're in a job they can't stand and find it hard to go to work each day. Find the thing that gets you excited in the morning. Hone in on it and go for it. Make time for it!
