we’ve been displaced from our home since June thanks to a house flood (a pipe split on our 2nd floor guest toilet and water rained thru the house for 3 days while we were away) and I’m counting the days til we can get back to normal and our dining room looks like this again. this time of year is my absolute favorite - the cozy supper parties + annual #fitzfriendsgiving, saving all of my thanksgiving magazine issues for a rainy day so I can take them in cover to cover, and the slight chill in the air all give reason to slow down a bit and savor the magic. ✨
