5/9 SPRING FLOWERS & BOUQUETS : Make sure your May bouquet isn’t full of flowers that only appear during late Summer by asking your floral designer about what seasonal options are available to you. It will not only make your bouquet look it’s best (there’s a reason nature grows certain flowers at specific times of year altogether!), but it will drastically reduce your floral budget by using what is grown locally and seasonally (no importing expensive orchids thank you!). May is famous for Peonies, Phlox, Garden Roses, Ranunculus and Jasmine for scent. Add some flowers for the way they look, and don’t forget one that is a stronger scent (like Jasmine). It’s perfect to remind you of your wedding day years later by using the scent around your home in candles or wearing a perfume with that floral scent in it.
