As the sun began to rise, Kevin took me aside to see the crater. The view was beyond spectacular and made all our efforts worthwhile. The whole experience was overwhelming and my mind was blown by the beauty of it all, I turned around to find my man down on one knee. In pure shock I blurted, ‘No, what are you doing!?’ Maybe this was because we were totally spaced out by the lack of oxygen, or the fact it was all just too amazing to be real life! We knew the soothing Onsen hot springs were awaiting us, although we were pretty shocked when we found ourselves sweaty, exhausted and completely butt naked with our entire mountain crew.
