BEAUTIFUL DESTINATIONS

A view of Pelisor Palace peaks through the vibrant hues of Romania’s fall foliage. The palace was built per the instruction of King Carol I for his nephew and future king, Ferdinand. King Ferdinand's wife, Queen Marie, was an accomplished artist in her own right and made many of the artistic decisions about the design of the palace — she even helped with the painting of it.
