When I first started to think about teaching calligraphy, I definitely experienced this. How would I teach people how to do something that I felt like I “just did”? I didn’t think about it, I just felt it & saw it & made it happen. Luckily I had non-artist types {like Alyssa} to bounce the process off of & ask me questions and sort of pull out of me what I was doing to make it happen. - After teaching for 5 years, and being a student myself for about 2 years, I feel a lot differently about describing the actual process, but I still believe this quote rings true & I know there are many artists out there who feel the same! Excited to keep creating with you all each day
