One year ago we spent a few special days living alongside the Tsaatan people, a small community of reindeer herders in Northern Mongolia. We slept on tarpaulins in a teepee by the river (and froze during the night!), drank reindeer milk, ate foraged nuts and berries and with the help of our guide chatted with the elders, sharing stories of our daily lives. It was an experience so far removed from what we know - which is what made it one of the most memorable from our travels
