In 2014, #VeraWang was feeling that the traditional method of viewing bridal gowns and bridal collections had become outdated. Recognizing that her client was transitioning to a digital world, she embraced a movement which was gaining popularity with most luxury fashion houses, but had not yet been explored in the realm of bridal. She partnered with director Gordon von Steiner to create her first bridal film titled, “Chasing Alix,” inspired by the iconic and mysterious designer Alix Grès. In preparation for the unveiling of the Vera Wang Spring 2019 Bridal Collection, we’re taking a look back at the heritage of #verawangbride
