Kat Williams

Snapped this at @duckanddry yesterday and omg I had no idea how relevant it would feel to me later in the day. I went to an event with a load of other wedding bloggers last night (who were ALL lovely by the way). But after chatting to a few of them about their businesses, their fancy offices and their teams of full time staff I couldn't help but feel... Well... A bit shit. Of course we have people helping us with Rock n Roll Bride. We have a few awesome freelancers for design, shoot styling, photography, accounts, and my sis working a few hours a week to help me with content... but full time paid staff? No way! We could never afford that and it made me wonder if I'm just doing it all wrong! Then this morning I found this photo on my phone and it made me realise, you know what, we might not be the biggest team, we might not be where we ultimately want to be... I might feel like I'm doing it all wrong at times... But this is MY business, I built it up from nothing and for the most part its still just me and G doing most of the hard slog by ourselves... And you know what? That's pretty fucking incredible. I'm proud of my little business. I'm proud of how hard I work and I'm proud of me. Fuck the comparisons and just do YOU.
