Once Wed

"It is sometimes hard to transition from one season to the next with flowers. When peony season ends, you wonder how you ever made an arrangement without one? You find yourself just staring at your vase longing for a big fluffy bloom to plug in there and fill half of your space. But then you find your way into summer, and you become comfortable with blooms that aren’t quite so fluffy, and you embrace all the foliage and vines, and the small fieldy flowers. Then Autumn hits and you have a hot minute to use colorful autumn leaves, but then all your foliage is gone and you don’t know how you’ll make an arrangement with no vines or branches with green leaves on them. There’s always a moment of panic for me between seasons when I’ve gotten accustomed to making arrangements with a certain formula of ingredients." - @sarah_winward.
