Gibson Girl Wallpaper Hair

Bouffant. Pompadour. Chignon. I'd like to dedicate this Valentine's Day post to something I love: hair. Let's start with a major influence for the quilling "Coiffure Series"--Charles Dana Gibson's wallpaper design. While most of his illustrations could be found in the pages of Life or Harper's, this one was designed as wallpaper for bachelor's rooms. Dirty.
