So were we, so we called up our good friend, MUA and Giorgio Armani Beauty Celebrity Face Designer Tim Quinn, for suggestions on how to pull together a quick-but-clever gift at the makeup counter. Of course, no matter how tight you are with your mom, picking out products that she'll actually want to wear can be a little tricky. Tim sheds light on which ones are sure bets:

Bronzer. "Blush can be difficult to buy as a present because it's so dependent on the person's skin tone, but bronzer is more universal-and it's timely since summer is just around the corner. Sheer lipstick. "It's easier to pick a flattering shade of lipstick for someone else when the formula is sheer, and I prefer giving this over a gloss because it's a little more elegant. Giorgio Armani Sheer Lipstick has a great range of natural, rosy shades that work on many skin tones."

Makeup bag. "Instead of handing your mom the products in a shopping bag, place them in a mesh makeup pouch, which you can find at the drug store. It comes in lots of fun colors, and I like it for summer because plastic or leather makeup cases can trap heat inside and cause makeup to melt."
