A Rose Gold Glam Dinner Party

A Rose Gold Glam Dinner Party

What's the only thing better than a dinner party? Oh... just one that's SUPER PRETTY and 70s-inspired, that's what! We here at GWS, wholeheartedly believe that dinner parties don't need to be an occasional thing or happen just to celebrate a significant event. But rather, each + every day with your loved ones is a reason to celebrate, and as dinner parties promote community + relationships, they should happen all the time - right?! Well, that's exactly what this "Tassels & Tastemakers" dinner party is all about: celebrating friends, creative vendors, and the relationships forged in the wedding industry! We're totally on board with that. :)

To inspire you to host you're own dinner party, we're giving you the inside scoop into this year's 1970s-inspired event, held at HNYPT in Los Angeles, and produced by Be Inspired PR. GATHER Events, the designer of night, shares: With the design direction of a 70's boho affair, we chose to play up bright, springy flower power! Inessa Nichols Design, with amazing product from Fifty Flowers, brought to life all of our hippie, hanging flower chain dreams with her stunning overhead dinner table installation. We were also inspired by circular shapes, ever so present in the 1970s, and that came through with our hanging lantern backdrop.

Ready to see how the whole party came together in the photographs by Sanaz Photography? Let's look!

Everyone scored a custom day planner by Erin Condren - so cute!!

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when the paper goods totally capture the event... And these pretty geometric ones by Inclosed Letterpress did just that!

Peacock chairs + bamboo backdrops from Archive Specialty Rentals festooned with florals? Yes, please!!

With The Booth and Bus Co.'s awesome vintage VW photo booth van, groovy tunes by The Golden Coast All Stars, and a lovely wash of lights by Elevated Pulse Productions, the whole event was brought together to create an intimate evening for the incredible event community to connect and celebrate.

Echoing the bubbles in the psychedelic lava lamp, the team at GATHER Events created this fun paper lantern installation with pieces from Under the Paper Lantern!

How cool are these laser engraved leather menus by Happily Ever Etched?! And the blush peony petal table runners from Napa Valley Linen brought such a fun, textural floral element to the tablescape.

So much flowery goodness, especially with the accents of bright poppy orange and blush!

Can you say, "YUM?!" This decadent dish + all the catering was provided by 24 Carrots, with wine by ONEHOPE Wine.

Wasn't that INCREDIBLE?! From rose gold everything, to the hanging floral installations, and paper lanterns... Who else is wanting to design/host a gorgeous dinner party now? Yeah, us too...

Let us know your favorite design element + what kind of things you'd incorporate when planning an event in the comment section below! :)
