Tell us about the gown and where/how you found it!

Paige's gown is from Bella Lily Bridal, a beautiful boutique in Glendale, AZ. She brought her sister and mom to her bridal appointment and they all knew it was the one as soon as she tried it on.

What were some touches added to make the wedding personal?

Paige felt incredibly crafty as she prepared for the wedding. She made her own wedding invitations, website, wedding program, seating chart, favors, and table numbers. But there's one DIY project that was her favorite. She hand-painted wood signs that lined the walkway up to the ceremony: "head on up, almost there, you made it." These signs took her WAY too long to make, but they were such a labor of love. She loved walking into the wedding, and seeing all these personalized touches that made their wedding very special to them.

Also, the venue actually bought the signs from Paige after the wedding. So, they'll live on!

What was the most memorable part of the day?

Right after the ceremony their guests all headed down the stairs to the cocktail hour. Jon and Paige stayed at the ceremony balcony, looking over the red rocks at sunset. They practiced their first dance and hummed the music. They had the most amazing time at their wedding being surrounded by family and friends, but this one moment was really special for them because it was just the two of them.

Tell us how you met and became engaged.

It certainly wasn't love at first sight.

They both worked in sports athletics together at the University of Arizona. Jon knew Paige as the girl with bangs and loud friends. She knew him as the guy with spiky hair and "film connections." They had a single one-on-one conversation in college that Jon doesn't even remember having.

Fast forward two years later to the UCLA v. UA football game. Now an alumni, Jon saw Paige at the tailgate, and they made a lot of small talk and had one too many jello shots. They kept in touch but didn't know when they'd meet up again.

Paige moved to LA after graduation. Knowing few people, Jon reached out and asked her to dinner, but assured her it was "purely platonic." While both of them knew that really wasn't true, neither of them could have guessed that 3 years, 2 homes and 1 little cat later they'd be saying "I Do."

From the beginning, they both shared a love of movies and documented their relationship through videos. One of their favorites is Disney's animated short "Paperman."

Jon surprised Paige in Howard Hughes' old airplane hangar with an aisle made of paper airplanes. At the end of the aisle, Jon was waiting with a projector that played a Paperman-inspired compilation of their entire relationship. Paige was so overwhelmed in the moment that she definitely blacked out.

Jon recorded the the whole proposal, so now they're lucky enough to re-watch one of their most cherished moments over and over again.
