A New Year's Eve party hosted by Natalie's roommate set the stage for Simon and Natalie's first encounter. "Call it cliche, but as soon as he walked in the room I knew he was the man I wanted to get old and wrinkly with," Natalie smiles.

The couple decided on a garden theme with an industrial edge for their wedding. With the goal of a beautiful but relaxed party in mind, they went with ultra-hip District 28 as their venue. "To match the unique look of the space, we chose a palette of lilac and deep plum, with lots of greenery and cream accents," Natalie explains.

Her favourite moment from their wedding was watching from her bridal suite as Simon got out of the limo before the ceremony. "Even though he couldn't see me, I was really excited to see him for the first time that day," Natalie recalls.

The casino games, great food and lush, vibrant florals were some of the couple's favourite details. "Mark McEwan did an incredible job, the lobster spoons were amazing," Natalie says. "The casino games were a great way for everyone to meet, and the flowers by Blush and Bloom were beautiful!"
