A Women & Whiskies Party

A Women & Whiskies Party

via

Who ever said that whiskey is a man's drink? We here at GWS are all about breaking the mold and traditional conventions, so when we saw this party themed around whiskey and women, we were all about it! Held at the Moniker Warehouse in San Diego, florist Layered Vintage teamed up with designer Aly of Luna Wild Design, to bring in a bunch of natural elements - including a "living wall" - which complemented the industrial vibes of the venue! Layered Vintage shares Inspiration came from the idea of whiskey being more of a guys drink and playing off the man cave or cigar lounge but making it suitable for the ladies. Lots of leather and mid-century mod goodness from the gals at Witty Rentals paired with DIY and décor details from Luna Wild Design. So much whiskey and so much fun!

Well bring on the whiskey and bring on the fun! Let's see these gorgeous photos by Morgan Ashley Photography ... You'll even find a couple of delish cocktail recipes below!

Studio BDR crafted the prettiest invites with just a bit of edge.

Those bountiful blooms by Layered Vintage are so beautiful!

The steer skull + all the blooms! *HEART EYES*

Such a cozy + boho-inspired setup with rentals from Witty Rentals! We LOVE!!

That spread!! All the pretty décor + tabletop items are from Hostess Haven.

SERIOUS YUM.

MIHO Catering provided all the tasty bites.

So who's ready for a cocktail after that? These would be perfect additions to spice up any holiday party...
A huge thanks to the dream team behind this delicious shoot!
