The CHANEL Fall-Winter 2016/17 Collection paid tribute to the house's Haute Couture DNA and to the exceptional work of seamstresses in the Parisian ateliers. Elegance was ubiquitous with hand-beaded dresses and a runway lined with golden chairs. From signature tweed pieces and rows upon rows of pearls, the collection was classic, timeless, and entirely Chanel.

Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld designed the presentation in an all-white venue reminiscent of a vintage Chanel salon - an organized seating arrangement where nearly everyone had the opportunity to sit front row. As the models intertwined along a labyrinth of chairs, guests were whisked away into a fast-paced fashion dream.

Gracing the runway were Chanel "It Girls" Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Bella Hadid, along with other Lagerfeld favorites.

Vibrant winter designs opened the show in shades of fuchsia, raspberry, coral, light pink, and bright red. Denim mixed with exclusive tweed exuded a sophisticated yet casual street-style charm.

Lagerfeld reinterpreted his always-anticipated two-piece suits with leather lacing, embroidery, and gold stitching. The runway had an overall equestrian feel, with flat riding boots and leather hats paired with nearly every look.

Suits were worn with oversized knit scarves and gloves decorated with emoticon jewels. "Emoticoco" prints were introduced on skirts and blouses, and "Chesterfield" quilting made a statement in the form of must-have coats.
