Earthy + Nomadic Wedding Inspiration at the Streamsong Resort

Earthy + Nomadic Wedding Inspiration at the Streamsong Resort

via

The incredible landscape + earthy paradise of Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, Florida served as the source of inspiration for this styled shoot. And we've got to say, we're pretty in love with all the nature-inspired vignettes and the moody, yet earthy, palette. Jason Mize Photography teamed up with event designer + planner, Bourbon and Blush Events, to highlight the resort and infuse a sort of nomadic quality to the shoot.

Jason shares We crafted a bold color palette with hues of soft blue, amethyst + pops of magenta, which paired seamlessly with the copper tones used throughout. We wanted to create an elegantly wild look, something that silently screamed adventure and let's runaway, but in a refined manner. So we incorporated a lot of elements that were asymmetrical in design (florals), bamboo to create an open teepee, and an array of pillows + ornate textiles to bring things down to earth. All of the little details truly captured the wild + free nomadic spirit.

Henry David Thoreau once said "All good things are wild and free"... Well, this styled shoot is certainly that, and more. Let's look!

The use of watercolor on this invitation suite by Sarah B. Calligraphy is so, so pretty!!

The bouquet! And that dress! And her hair! So many cool details.

Romantic + soft in nature, the bride wears a stunning Anne Barge gown with illusion lace from Malindy Elene Bridal; keeping with an elegant, but wild aesthetic, an untamed fishtail braid by Femme Akoi completed the look.

Bamboo was used to construct an open teepee and the whole scene was completed with ornate rugs and Moroccan-style pillows.

Simply STUNNING!

The florals were inspired by local flowers and full of unique texture + color. Marigold Flower Co. created stunning asymmetrical designs for the whole shoot, dotted with Kangaroo Paw, large magenta blooms of Protea and pillowed cotton.

That view + the tablescape... So dreamy!!

Jason shares The hand dyed linen runner and napkins from Ever After Vintage Weddings delicately cascaded over the beautiful reclaimed wooden farm table from Wish Vintage Rentals. The dyed linens were a key piece of inspiration + the perfect pop of color. To tie the look together, we incorporated the earthy dark tones in the wood, with an array of crystals, bringing the nature inspired elements back into the design.

We're LOVING the copper + rose gold tableware.

How pretty is that cake by Trudy Melissa Cakes, with the marbled-blues + the gold leaf?! A huge thank you to the dream team behind this shoot!
