WeddingChella: A 3-Day Festival Wedding in Utah - Part 2

via

Did you see Part 1 of this off-the-grid, bohemian, three-day festival-style wedding in the desert this morning? If not, be sure to click there first, then pop on back here. :) And for those that did, welcome back for Act 2 - the party in the desert at Moab Under Canvas!! Since Chloe + Taylor's wedding was inspired by Coachella - it wouldn't be complete without all the festivities + live music... and believe us, there was plenty of that, planned perfectly by Cause We Can Events.

The groom shares Making our wedding about the two of us all started with the "big picture." We evaluated what really makes us happy on an everyday level and decided to prioritize those values when deciding how to structure the event. What we came away with was a blueprint that looked nothing like a traditional wedding, a blueprint which we made sure wasn't going to change. When it came down to making it all come true, we focused on details that spoke to our personal design taste versus working around what the venue had to offer. In the end, we created an environment that was an extension of us, leaving our friends and family feeling like they truly understood who we are as a team.

At GWS, we're ALL about that. Creating a day that is truly about the couple + reflects their relationship. Ready to see all the incredible details photographed by Laura Goldenberger Photography?

Isn't Chloe absolutely stunning? We're seriously crushing on her Rue de Seine gown... And Kim Nicol of Nicol Artistry kept her tresses + makeup looking fresh, even in the desert heat.

Those florals by Kelly Mendenhall of 3 Leaf Floral! Love, love, love!!

SO CUTE!!

Chloe: I can't remember three days in my life when I ever smiled so much and thinking back on it makes my heart just ache with happiness! A few of my favorites: Holding Taylor's hand through the slit in our tent door right before we went down the aisle (it calmed my nerves so much to feel his hand right before the ceremony), kissing in a light little rain flurry during our wedding photo session right after the ceremony, walking out away from the party for a moment and looking up at the sky full of a million stars and realizing how incredibly grateful I was for this experience.

Taylor: Initially, I would say putting on my own DJ set was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but now that we have stepped away from the wedding weekend I think sneaking away for an hour to do the portrait session with my bride was the most memorable moment.

That golden hour light... The wedding day truly does move SO QUICKLY, so having the event spread out across three days allowed Chloe + Taylor to sneak away for a darling photoshoot as newlyweds.

Everything about this!!

Circa Rentals provided all the tables, benches + folding chairs for this darling dining space.

All the succulents!!

HOLY SMOKES. This palette board + succulents galore wall is INCREDIBLE.

The bride shares We had a beer tap wall and open bar all weekend long, and activity options for our guests like speed boats down the Colorado River, hot air ballooning, mountain biking, off-roading jeeps and exploring the beautiful Arches National Park.

All the other pretty + cozy furniture pieces were thrifted by the couple!

Mad Wrappers Truck, Ganic Grub and Sip Coffee Truck provided all the delicious bites and refreshments for the weekend.

Okay, let's talk about how cool this dress is really quick... Chloe shares The base is actually a mini dress by For Love and Lemons and I found the tulle skirt in a bargain bin for prom season stuff! I had my friend, who is in fashion, alter and hem it a little bit to remove the satin lining... I wore the skirt for all of the pretty family photos in the desert, and then once the party started I ditched the tulle and wore the mini dress!

The SWEETEST!!

These two are officially the COOLEST!

SO MUCH FUN. We want to be at this party! The line up included: The Whispering Eyes, The Gatsbys and DJKingDing; there was also 3 DJs (one of which was the groom!).

A huge congrats to you C + T!! We're thrilled that you celebrated your special day in a way that reflected the both of you!
