Bright and Colourful Wedding Decor Inspiration for a Tipi

Bright and Colourful Wedding Decor Inspiration for a Tipi

via

We have some fabulous outdoor wedding inspiration to share with you today. Brought to you by the team behind wedding tipi supplier Sami Tipi, this styled shoot features bright and colourful decor ideas that are perfect for an outdoor wedding. It also features some truly awesome festival wedding suppliers such as prosecco van hire Fizz 76, Mambo Mobile Bars (these guys offer a hangover kit for your guests which is genius), The Wedding House (wedding dresses for a quirky bohemian bride) and of course Sami Tipi themselves.

As well as organising a shoot, Sami Tipi also held their Summer Open Day on the same day and Ed Brown Photography was there to capture it all.

Jodie of Sami Tipi, as well as some of the suppliers involved, talk us through the ideas and styling behind this awesome shoot.

Dare to be Different....

Styled by Tickety Boo Events, with flowers from Jo Beth Floral Designs and captured perfectly by Ed Brown Photography, the inspiration for the shoot was bright and bold to showcase the tipis in a different way to how we have in the past. Mismatched coloured candles set against bright gold candelabras really did bring the tipi to life and gave an instant wow factor. Brightly coloured giant balloons and pom poms hung inside filling the space and really defined the structure of the tipis. Each table was dressed a little differently to showcase to those planning a wedding that you don't have to conform - dare to be different. We couldn't resist dropping in a few flamingos, lots of glitter and a neon 'Party' sign. We chose two models with very different looks which worked well with the choice of dresses and the props we used. Bright bunting lined the walkway and really finished off the overall look.

Undone Braids and Natural Waves....

Words by Laura from L H Professional Hair

It was great to work on this shoot with so many talented suppliers. The first looks i created were pinned up and back to showcase the beautiful dress detailing. Soft but structured and working with the individuals hair type. I felt the second look encapsulated the wedding party, loose carefree tresses with undone braids and natural waves alongside dramatic crimp curls and fun full volume.

Dresses for a Bohemian Bride...

Words by The Wedding House Derby

Bridal dresses by The Wedding House Derby were selected from the ti adora range by Alvina Valenta. The dresses, inspired by the theme Dreamcatcher Magic are perfect for the bohemian bride looking for a relaxed, outdoor style. The gorgeous rose gold sequin dress from Jasmine's Belsoie collection looked stunning against the vibrant neon colours of the shoot whilst The Wedding House's own Josie multi way dresses added a splash of vibrancy and fun.

Pulled Pork, Mocktails and Fizz....

Ed Brown has an amazing way of capturing everything just right. His style and ideas for the photographs really complimented the way the shoot was styled. The sun shone (bonus) and the day was rounded off with an open evening for prospective couples. Pulled pork, mocktails and fizz were high on the agenda and the naked tipis went down a storm.
