Virginia & Wes knew they wanted a low-key celebration under the stars with their loved ones, and Event Planners Sage Nines Event Production built on this idea with a palette of cream, peach and deep red that worked so well for a Tennessee summer evening wedding at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. You mightn't think such a gorgeous venue would need much in the way of decoration, but honestly, just wait until you see more of the stunning florals these ladies created!

Bride Victoria carried this stunning bouquet of roses and dahlias in peach, deep red and cream, with plenty of natural greenery. Making it even more special? She added a locket to the ribbon tied around it, featuring pictures of her mother's grandparents, and a picture of her when she was little with her mother's father.

Why did you choose this location? The moment we stepped on the property we noticed the inherent beauty of the mansion and the flowers, and we were sold.

We thought this pair had some great budget advice, urging couples starting planning to spend on the big things at the start and cut costs on smaller details later: "Don't try to cut corners on a photographer or the venue. Our photographer was everywhere for every moment that needed a photo. I had heard horror stories of couples who didn't get their photos or didn't have great photos from their wedding and I can honestly say that was completely opposite for us. We can relive our wedding through our photos."

The softest dove-gray chiffon was the ideal choice for the bridesmaids's gowns - not only did it keep them cool on a warm afternoon, but it lets the green of the garden and the stunning florals in the bouquets really shine.

Victoria couldn't have been happier with Sage Nines, especially for their outstanding florals that tied in so well with the venue. Her advice to other brides? "Relax and trust your wedding planners!"

The Ceremony

What was your favorite thing about your wedding ceremony? Walking down the mansion steps with my father and instantly seeing my soon to be husband smiling waiting for me.

Your ceremony in three words. Keeping it simple.

The Reception

Victoria loved how Sage Nine styled their reception space. Lit with hanging lights strung from end to end to give the couple the relaxed al fresco feel they wanted, farm tables were decorated with lanterns, florals and soft linens.

The deep red and copper of the place cards and metallic fruit looks so pretty against the beautiful peach roses and dahlias of the table arrangements.

The pair served this beautiful four tier caramel and lemon cake, covered in intricate lace detail icing.

How would you describe your reception? The brick building, brick pavers and string light gave a rustic vibe to the party. We hired a DJ that played all types of music from country, pop and a few Latin songs for the bride's family. The night was filled with dancing and laughter.

If you had it to do over again, is there anything you would do differently? Absolutely not. My dream wedding came true.
