First of all you need to print templates of feathers. Then you should trace onto card stock and cut with an x-acto knife on a self-healing mat. Next cut thread to the lengths desired for the backdrop. Starting at the end of the thread, wrap around feather stem and double knot. Now continue tying on feathers every 6-18 inches.
