Milan Street-Style Stars to Watch

These are the people we can't wait to see hit the pavement at Milan Fashion Week. Expect them to pull out all the stops for the third leg of runway shows.Pretty much the pioneer of outlandish street style, Anna Dello Russo serves as an idol to many young fashion upstarts striving to be the next queen of the streets. With her knack for making the most unwearable covetable, she continues to be street style's most photographed subject. Vogue Japan 's editor-at-large is clearly drawn to the eccentric side of fashion; you can regularly find her sporting radical styles, the shortest hemlines and the loudest accessories. Imitate at your own risk!

Laura Comolli is starting to make a name for herself on her home stomping grounds, catching our eye last season with her heavy fringe and cool-girl attitude. Once prone to girly frocks and frilly touches, the blogger has since upped her sartorial ante with a transition to darker hues and edgier fare. Catch her rocking vintage florals, funky furs and killer kicks from her arsenal of über trendy wears.Parisienne Elisa Nalin is no fashion amateur. A photographer favorite with her refined use of colorful duds and a mischievous grin, she sports equally charming vintage pieces and charasmatic accessories (the woman knows the power of a good beanie or headscarf). The stylist and brand consultant makes packing color, texture and embellishment into a singular outfit look fun, bringing back a sense of practical playfulness to the streets.Eleonora Carisi is the epitome of Italian fashion: refined and feminine, but with an unexpected edge. She boasts a studied, yet entirely unique, sense of street style and has some seriously strong shoe, handbag and sunglass-game. Prone to pastels, soft fabrics and girly frocks (you'll hardly see her playing the androgyny game, but when she does it's full-blown Annie Hall), her side-swept locks serve as her signature touch of sensuality. If ADR is the queen of street style, that makes Giovanna Battaglia the princess. Editor of L'Uomo Vogue and contributing editor at W, she has made her mark as more than just a street starlet. Being a former model, Battaglia knows how to draw the photogs, but it's her painfully chic and charmingly retro ensembles that keep them coming back for more. She mixes classic cuts with new-wave silhouettes, and like Carisi, you'll rarely spot her in borrowed-from-the-boys looks, but when she does she channels some serious Audrey Hepburn.
Business savvy Italian Chiara Ferragni has managed to build a million-dollar empire thanks to industry collaborations and an endless supply of trendy clothes. While not the most uniquely inventive street-style subject, Ferragni offers a quirky aesthetic that's girly, relatable and wearable, reserving her most adventurous of outfits for Fashion Week. Like her fellow Italians, she's drawn to classic cuts and short hems, adding flair to feminine ensembles with statement knits and coats come winter.
