Heather and Matt wanted a timeless wedding that was glamorous but also reflected them. They were married in October at Whitley Hall, Sheffield.

"Our inspiration was classic glamour", said the bride. "We wanted our wedding to be different so we had it on Halloween. We both love the holiday, although we didn't want to have a specific Halloween theme."

"We wanted the ceremony itself to be pretty intimate", she continued. "We had a pianist and we had him play You Had Me at Hello by A Day to Remember as I walked down the aisle."

"The part of the day that really stands out for me is the speeches. Matt's two brothers were both best men and for their speech they performed a song that they wrote. One played guitar and the other sang, it was amazing, super funny and so so thoughtful, we just loved it. However all the speeches were so moving and thoughtful, one of our best friends had an animation short story made of mine and matt's journey together from meeting up until the wedding day."

"Our biggest expense was the cake!" she explained. "We went all out and I just kept adding to it. We had a 5-tier cake with a 24ct gold tier. Then I added a desert table with two more cakes, cupcakes, macaroons and cake pops!"

"It's super cliché, but my advice to other couples would be to just have your wedding exactly how you both want it, its your day. Don't let anyone's opinions on what a wedding should be like change your ideas or your vision, be yourself 100%. I just wish I knew how much I'd miss wedding planning when it was all over. I want to do it again!"
