Jacquelin on her wedding day, 1952.

Thanks to Anne Sage who shared this photo. From Anne: I love this snapshot of my grandmother on her wedding day. She passed away in July at the age of 85. She and my grandfather were together for 70 years, and first met when she was 16 in 1946. When I was sitting by her bedside with my grandpa right before she passed, I asked him what drew him to her so long ago. His answer: "She was a smart-ass," he replied. "And she was pretty darn cute too." Humor is one of the building blocks in a marriage that stands the test of time, and it's one of the many characteristics she passed to me that I'm most proud to carry on.
