About the Collection

London-based label La Poésie Bridal, specialises in edgy yet elegant silk and lace bridal gowns made in Britain that are perfect for modern, independent and fashionable brides. For the 2016 Collection, designer Monika Kashimbaya who studied fashion in Paris, trained at Nina Ricci was inspired by French brides who tend to go for a pared-back, less is more style for their wedding day and look cool, confident and absolutely stunning. Newly launched, the 2016 collection has gowns that are perfect for city weddings including Anouk gown in silk crepe de chine with a cowl bodice, slender straps and sheer French lace back and Coco gown in silk marocain with draped pearls on the back, a nod to Coco Chanel's trademark necklaces. And for county weddings Coralie's pretty lace bust and swirling chiffon skirt and Stephanie's chic elegance are ideal.

Aren't they so pretty? I just love the retro styling with the sunglasses, but they could also look really chic and classic with a low bun and loose bouquet, don't you think?
