We're sure you know at this point we're all about that wedding planning adventure. And from the virtual pages of our blog to the tangible pages of our magazine, sharing the best wedding ideas, inspiration and advice is one of our favorite things. In honor of the upcoming, brand new edition of our mywedding magazine (which will be on newsstands December 2) we've decided to take a look back at our very first issue and share some of the details that made our hearts beat a little bit faster.

These chair signs are just the detail a modern wedding day with a little DIY needs. We love the color, the fringe, the glitter - basically, all of it.

Romantic, traditional, perfect. Hannah and Matt's wedding, captured by Austin Gros, was a dream.

This blue and gold tiered wedding cake was one of our favorite details from Style & Grace, a beautiful Brooklyn photo shoot in our first issue.

We've said it before and we'll probably say it again: French bulldogs plus Hushed Commotion details plus the prettiest accessories around equal our favorite photo shoot in the history of maybe ever.

DIY cake toppers? Yes. please. (The rest of this fall real wedding was pretty wonderful, too.)

Another unforgettable shot from our Brooklyn shoot by Kate Ignatowski - because that headpiece and that Lovely Bride wedding dress will go down as essential elements of one of the prettiest, most romantic bridal looks we've ever seen. Subtle, illusion-inspired details and long sleeves are always a good idea.

Sometimes it seems like grooms get left out of the wedding details. This groom's suit, with it's embroidered reference to one of the couple's favorite books, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, helped ensure that his personality was just as much a part of the big day.

Gold sequin table runners. That is all.

The fact that Matthew Morris sewed this hairstyle into place puts this shoot permanently at the top of our list.

These geometric sculptures (West Elm, you have our undying devotion) made the table decor at our Undone photo shoot. The other details from the shoot (like the floral arrangements, an awesome hanging installation and some really, really cool backdrops) were pretty wonderful, too.

Sarah Seven and Gibson Bespoke made an awfully stunning pairing in Adornments.

We love having the chance to talk to creatives in the industry, which made it incredibly easy to choose our last favorite detail from the first issue of mywedding. These invitations were hand lettered and photographed by Rebecca Caridad of Manzanita, who we interviewed for the magazine. Her work, and this suite, is nothing less than breathtaking.
