The 2015 collections took illusion necklines to the next level. Adding a low back to the high illusion neckline (like the dress above) gives brides a new twist on this trend. The delicate cap sleeves paired with the feminine collar come together in a modern interpretation of classic romance.

But this year wasn't ALL about the backs. With illusion wedding gowns also incorporating sheer fabric at the sleeves and waists, the two dresses below give the impression that there is more than meets the eye.

Combining the illusion effect with the trend of a lingerie-styled bodice, the delicate design below flatters brides who want to show off their svelte curves without revealing too much skin.

Another trend that we can't get enough of is embellished details. The more beads the better. Giving your bridal style a little extra oomph, these intricate details are great for Art Deco brides that want to show off their luxurious side.

If beading is not your style, you can still wear an ornate wedding dress by incorporating patterned illusions and lace like the dresses below. Nothing is more romantic than a few subtle details here and there.

When looking for wedding dresses, it's safe to say that lace is a trend that is here to stay and 2015 was no exception. From illusion bodices to lace necklines and long sleeves, lace is a fabric that exudes a timeless bridal look for every style.

This year was also big for non-traditional wedding dresses. Like the black floral lace gown above and the champagne dress with ruffled cape sleeves below, designers were not afraid to shy away from the traditional white dress and we are very glad they did.

Minimalism is hot right now and it's easy to see why. Modern brides are opting for these sleek and simple wedding gowns that give them a refined and polished look.

Add in a little metallic glow like the dress below and you've got a show stopping gown that is the epitome of this 2015 trend.

Just because embellished details, metallic glow and lace sleeves are popular, we haven't seen a decline in classic styles such as wide-collared, full coverage gowns (above, left) or a strappy open back on a well-tailored dress (above, right). These make our best list because they represent an enduring style, naturally beautiful on every bride.

2015 has also been the year of sleek silhouettes. Whether it's a mermaid gown, sheath dress, or one with subtle cutouts, these svelte dresses have owned both runways and aisles everywhere.

This wouldn't be a complete roundup of the best dresses if we didn't include a few crop tops. This trend isn't all about the skintight and minimal. It actually works well with flowy skirts and relaxed styling.

Last, but certainly not least, short wedding dresses have been more and more common for 2015 brides. Seen as a more casual option, these dresses are flying off the racks of bridal shops everywhere.
