"The woman who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been." Albert Einstein I love this inspirational quote for the bridal portion of Kurt Boomer's film workshop this past May. I believe it is in every creative's best interest to invest in and cultivate their gifts and passions. Investing in a workshop to learn more about film; how to shoot, how to teach clients its value... was priceless. In the wedding industry, especially if you only shoot weddings in your local region, it's easy to plan and shoot the same things repeatedly. But getting outside of your comfort zone is where you start to find yourself and blaze your own trail. I loved this shoot created by Joy Proctor and Kurt Boomer, it was an honor to be a part of it.
