I hope you all had a brilliant long weekend and managed to have some fun despite our wonderful weather. We embraced it and headed out in our waterproofs and wellies to the Kent coast where India (my daughter for those of you who don't know!) spent most of her time jumping into puddles, paddling in the sea and grinning at the bright lights of the arcade - it was awesome and the rain didn't matter one bit.

Talking of rain, if you are planning a festival wedding in the South West and are looking for a quirky festival style marquee to protect you and your guests from good old Blighty's weather, then lovely readers you needn't look any further. I am delighted to share with you one of the first ever Giant Nordic Tipi suppliers in the UK, the wonderful World Inspired Tents.

Festival Brides have been working with these guys since 2012 and have always been so impressed by their company ethos, passion and the way they style their Tipis. They always produce fantastic styled shoots (click here to see what I'm talking about) and have an incredible team of people working for them who we have enjoyed getting to know over the last few years.

We asked founders Ed and Donna Wright to tell us a bit about themselves, why they fell in love with tipis and what makes World Inspired Tents stand out from a crowd.....

We are Ed and Donna Wright, the husband and wife team who established World Inspired Tents back in 2007. We are based in the beautiful Devon countryside, and cover the South West, Southern England and South Wales.

We both come from corporate backgrounds, but had always wanted to start our own business. Back in 2006 we came across the tipis at a country fair and instantly knew we had made a bit of a discovery. The tipis struck as a beautiful and atmospheric alternative to any temporary structure we had seen before, and we knew they would make a magical space for weddings.

Within a year of our first encounter with the tipis we were taking delivery of our own, and World Inspired Tents was born!

It would probably have to be The Big Feastival - the combination of great music and a brilliant foodie line up, makes it very tempting indeed. It is also massively child friendly - which is all-important to us these days! Our days of attending big festivals are behind us, although many of our tipis are still firmly on the summer festival circuit!

We provide giant Nordic event tipis for weddings (and other celebrations), all year round. We offer a range of carefully chosen furnishings and lighting, along with open fires and heating to make sure our customers' events are both beautiful and comfy! Our events team work closely with our customers and their other suppliers to make sure no detail is overlooked. And we all really love what we do!

Anyone booking with World Inspired Tents should expect to receive a first class service experience. They should also expect the tipis to give plenty of 'wow' factor and to delight all of their guests.

Our giant Nordic tipis are extremely versatile structures; we can link them to create the perfect space for your celebration, whether it's an intimate party for 50 guests or a grand affair for 1000. The tipis can also be attached in almost limitless number of configurations, depending on the size and shape of your chosen site.

Our tipis provide a truly magical space for wedding celebrations all year round. The sides of the tipis can be raised to take in a beautiful view, sunset or cooling breeze in summer. In winter with the sides down, open fires lit and fairy lights sparkling, the tipis create a cosy winter wonderland. They work well with almost any styling theme and colour scheme, although require very little in the way of decoration as the structures themselves really are so beautiful and atmospheric.

Our events team are all extremely good at what they do, they are happy to talk through ideas, make recommendations and support our customers throughout the planning process.

Experience and reputation. We are one of the original tipi hire companies to be established in the UK. We have grown significantly since starting out in 2007 and a large part of this growth is thanks to word of mouth recommendations. We have over eight years of knowledge and experience, and many hundreds of successful events under our belts.

We are also in a position to hold a comprehensive stock of back-up kit and vehicles. We always hold tipis and equipment in reserve, which gives our customers the peace of mind that we can deliver 100% of the time.

We have also received many awards over the years, and as our customers have voted them, they mean an awful lot to us. These awards and our testimonials say far more about the service that we provide our customers than we would be comfortable doing!

Firstly, let your creativity run wild. The tipis provide a wonderful blank canvas to work with, which can be dressed up to suit any theme you have in mind, or left alone to create a beautiful backdrop to a glorious celebration.

Don't worry about the weather. The tipis will keep you dry and warm even if the British weather throws everything at you. With the sides up they are amazing to make the most of a lovely view or a sunny day.

Delegate. Allocate jobs to your friends and family so that you can enjoy the run up to your wedding and savour every minute of the big day itself.

Include fairy lights with your booking. There is no such thing as too many fairy lights when it comes to a tipi wedding. They just work!

Our reputation means an awful lot to us, and we have a simple company ethos (which can be considered a bit of a team mantra), and that is to exceed expectations every time. This is at the heart of everything we do, from the events team in the office to the crews setting up the tipis, and it works!

We hold Open Weekends in spring and autumn every year. The next one is scheduled for near Exeter.
