We met at a formal event, not knowing that two years after that, we would start dating. 3 years after that, we decided to spend the rest of our lives together.

I can't help but smile just thinking about it ... he came to visit me in Potchefstroom and we decided to go out for dinner. On our way there he said that we had to make a quick stop at their farm, because he had to open the gates for his dad. When we got there, he said he just wanted to drive in and see if the animals are fine - and as we drove down the hill there it was - a perfectly decorated table. Dinner for just the two of us. When he got down on one knee I just couldn't contain my happiness!

The whole day ;) For me the part that got me into tears...when Rudie finished his speech, the last words he said..."Liezel, Ek is gebore om jou lief te he"
