Today's wedding inspiration shoot is a little bit different. But as you know, we're always up for inspiring your wedding day with something fresh, new, and alternative.

We always get lots of gorgeous wedding ideas from interiors imagery, and this artistic shoot by Jason Wasinger Photography and a team of Portland wedding vendors, does just that.

Blending both homeware and crafting trends (peacock chairs, yarn weaves, homemade art and eclectic pottery) and giving it a wedding tablescape spin, this shoot co-ordinated by online stationery and decor supplier Elli, with styling by Black Sweet Raspberry, serves up lots of cool ideas.

Bohemian, creative, and a little 70s, this wedding inspiration shoot is not just a reflection of the moment's coolest trends, but a creative example of new ways to both DIY and use your own ornaments and keepsakes to style your wedding.

We'll pass you over to the team at Elli to tell us a little more about creating this cool shoot...

From The Stationers

Dramatic and fabulous, boho is taken to a new height of luxury and opulence. Building texture with rustic elements and gold metallics within a palette of muted periwinkle, navy and cream hues, the ambience obtains rich flavor. Your mother's macrame finds a new home among gold-dipped glassware, faux furs and blush roses. A dramatic hand-painted fabric backdrop allows for a bold focal point, accompanied by deep, luscious oranges and greens from fruit and beverage. Elli collaborated with local wedding designers and artisans to provide brides with an exotic interpretation of their "Painterly Chic" water color invitation suite. Transforming their urban studio space, the team brought to life DIY elements, including a gorgeous water-color inspired backdrop and rustic chandelier. With a nod to 70s dramatic sleeves, the model is styled with gold accents and a simple 'dance all night' high-bun.

Pretty cool, right - and so different. While we still love blush tones, mason jars, and rustic DIYs, we're also seeing some new trends start to seep into creative weddings, it's really exciting!

Let us know, do you love the the seventies bohemian vibes?

Thanks so much to Jason Wasinger Photography, the teams at Elli and Black Sweet Raspberry and the rest of these talented Portland vendors for sharing this alternative wedding inspiration with us.
