Bride's you'll have to bear with us this morning as we've got something rather fabulous to share with our photographer friends. I'm sure you won't mind but if you can't do without your daily fix of wedding inspiration, we've got plenty more for you to discover right here!
Right photographers, now I've got you alone there's something rather exciting going on this April! If you haven't heard about it already (perhaps you've been unplugged, we'll let you off just this once) SNAP Photography Festival is the UK's first ever photography festival, founded by London wedding photographer Laura Babb.
LEARNGathering over 100 photographers from all over the world together at glamping venue Fforest in Wales, this 4 day / 3 night extravaganza is everything a photographer could ever want, and a little bit more. With day passes and full event tickets availble, think of it like Glastonbury but with less Jack White, Ellie Goulding & Lily Allen and more Emma Case & Pete Smyth, Laura Babb, Marianne Taylor and Nick Tucker, better food, better accommodation and less mud. Ok, we can't make any promises on that last bit.
ESCAPEThere's a host of extra activities throughout the event too, from shoot swaps and nighttime astro photography (sounds flipping awesome!) to film screenings and meditation there will be plenty of opportunity to stay busy or chill out. There's also an epic closing night party with the ledgendary Disco Shed.
SHOOTI was thrilled to be asked by the team to come up with a creative concept for one of four epically styled areas based on the festival's key themes of Air, Fire & Water which will be available for photographers to capture throughout the festival. My concept is based on the element Air, inspired by it's unpredictability, swirling storms, thunder clouds and dense fog to soft breezes and floating clouds. Picking up on a stormy palette of thundery greys and misty blues, mixing moody & sultry with movement & light. It translates into inky storm cloud-inspired details, with wild organic florals floating, drifting away...

I can't wait to see how the team bring this to life - or to see the final images captured by the attedees. We'll be sharing some of them right here after the event.
