Hazel eyes are totally gorgeous - that can't be denied. The speckles of green, gold and brown make your mesmerizing peepers hard to turn away from. However, when it comes to eye makeup, things can get a little tricky. Since your eyes are a mixture of several shades, it's hard to figure out what shadow look will complement your ever-changing eye color. Have no fear! Because we consulted with makeup and hair guru Emma Willis to show us how to get a foolproof smoky eye for your hazel eyes!


Step 1. Apply eye primer to the lid. Take a green shadow like Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Pure Pigments Loose Powder Shadow in Forest Fatale and brush it into the crease. Using a fluffy brush, softly blend out the shadow.

Step 2. Take a wet eyeliner brush, dip it into the same green shadow and brush it onto the lower lash line.

Step 3. Use a soft brown shadow like NYX Cosmetics Nude Matte Shadow in Underneath It All and apply it along the upper lash line, as close to the roots of the lashes as possible.

Step 4. Take a light, peach-colored highlighter (we love L'Oréal Paris Magic Lumi Highlighter) and brush it on the inner corners of the eyes.
